About Me
Hi! My name is Kira, and I'm a third-year Engineering Science (Aerospace) student at the University of Toronto. This site is a snapshot of my journey — a place to share the projects I've built, the ideas I've explored, and what inspires me as I grow as an engineer.
I'm passionate about turning complex problems into practical solutions through design, technology, and hands-on experimentation. My interests include aerospace, robotics, automation, and sustainability, and I'm especially drawn to the space and transportation industries.
At U of T, I'm the Logistics Lead for UTAT (University of Toronto Aerospace Team), where I've helped coordinate technical projects and work with a multidisciplinary team. This summer, I traveled with our team to the U.S. for a rocket launch and earned my High-Power Rocketry Level 1 certification.
I also interned with the Automation team at Loblaw, where I worked in a state-of-the-art automated warehouse and gained real-world experience in automation systems and supply chain operations — applying classroom concepts to industry challenges.
This site highlights the work I've done so far and where I hope to go next. I'm excited to keep learning, building, and making an impact.
